Installation
Instructions
Our software uses the industry
standard InstallShield installation software. InstallShield is included with
Windows2000/ME/XP operating systems but may need to be downloaded for Windows/98 operating
systems (depends on whether you have recently installed software that uses InstallShield).
The installation will automatically determine if you need the software or an update and
will download only the necessary files before continuing with the installation of our
software. As you will see in the instructions below, you must stay connected to the
internet during the installation process. Expect up to a delay during the initial
installation while the necessary InstallShield files are downloaded and configured for
your system.
Download the program file from the
link provided and save the file to your computer's hard drive. If only a portion of the file is saved to your
computer, follow these steps:-Click
Save
-Set 'Save as Type' as 'all files' instead of 'Application'
-Save file to your My Documents folder
-Click Open to install the file
Once the download is complete, keep
your connection to the internet open.
You may also double-click the file
you downloaded or click RUN to begin the installation process.
Some older versions of
Windows will require an additional download of the installation software (1.5mb). This
will be done automatically through your internet connection and is a normal part of the
installation for older Windows operating systems. Future downloads of AcaStat will not
require an update of the installation software.
You may be asked to reboot your
computer to complete the installation.
