AcaStat
was developed by an instructor to help students apply the basic analytical techniques
taught in statistics courses and to develop the skills necessary to use more
expensive statistical tools (SAS, SPSS, STATA, etc.). In addition to being an
instructional aid, almost half of those using AcaStat are researchers and managers who use
the software as a desktop analytical tool.
We offer a free Special Edition
version of AcaStat for students to use at home or in the dorm and a free site license for
academic institutions. Purchases of the Licensed Edition support this website,
software development, and make it possible for us to provide free site and Special Edition
licenses. Suggestions for improving the software are always welcome. |
